WooCommerce Menu
In this guide, we’ll give you a brief tour of the WooCommerce Menu, with more details on how to use them in the succeeding guides. Remember, we’ve set up most of the nitty-gritty stuff in our templates. So most of the adjustments you’ll end up doing will just be specific to the kind of product/s your business has.
- Home. The Home section is your WooCommerce dashboard. Here you can stay on top of your store performance, get useful tips and insights to grow your business, and quickly access some of the most important areas to manage your store.
- Orders. The Orders section is used for viewing and managing orders. You can also manually add orders.
- Customers. The Customers section presents a list of all your customers, with basic information such as their contact information, count of orders placed, and lifetime spend.
- Reports. In the Reports section, you can view data on sales, customers, coupons, and stock.
- Settings. Contains all settings used to configure WooCommerce, including product page setup, tax, shipping and payment gateways, accounts and privacy, and emails.
- Status. The Status page is useful for troubleshooting on your own or when contacting support. Download the System Status Report and review or attach it to your support ticket. It provides an overall snapshot of your setup and potential conflicts.
- Extensions. The Extensions section is where you can browse for additional free/premium plugins and extensions to add functionality and features to your site. Use the categories given, or use the Search loop. As you’ll see here in our sample, we’ve added a couple of extras which you can include in your shop too!
- Products Menu. This top-level menu has sections relating to products, such as viewing and adding new products, setting up product categories and tags, and managing product attributes.
