You have arrived at our Terms & Conditions page where we cover your use of and access to this site, the templates offered, other products, applications, tools, services, and features provided by Rooster Studio at www.rooster-studio.com. Rooster Studio is a digital company that provides digital goods related to web and blog design, which you as the “customer” or “user” can acquire through our “Digital Shop”. The content on this page covers important information regarding your rights as well as the terms by which you can use our product and service offerings.
Please read through this carefully. By using or accessing this site, its products, and services, you agree to the Terms and Conditions stated herein without modification and acknowledge reading them. We reserve the right to update and change these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time, and will update them accordingly with the ‘effective date” indicated at the top of this page.
Our products are intangible digital items and cannot be “returned”. Hence, all template sales are considered final and non-refundable upon our delivery of the link to the e-mail address you provide to us. Our products however, are not instantly downloadable, as they all go through an installation process of 2-3 days. If you have changed your mind during this time, you may cancel your order and get a refund by responding to the confirmation e-mail we send right after you checkout.
All Rooster Studio templates made available at the Digital Shop have been pre-designed and undergo further testing after installation. This process allows us to guarantee that the templates are fully functional and will be delivered to you as you see them in the live previews we provide at our site. No installations are required on your part as well, as these are all browser-accessible and browser-editable items. Nonetheless, technical glitches can still occur. If this is the situation you find yourself in, please contact us immediately. We will reboot your shop for free within 7 days from the date of delivery. Beyond this date, however, all service requests will come with a fee which will be communicated to you by our team depending on the level of repairs required.
Please take note as well that rebooting your shop will remove all modifications you may have already done on them. We recommend you always keep a copy of your shop’s content (copy/text & images) at your respective computer/laptop as a backup.
All our templates use the WordPress platform and will not work on any other platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, or Weebly. They also come pre-packaged and pre-loaded with hosting, their own SSL License, and a template editor (Elementor). So all you’ll need would be your own domain name, which we can acquire and install for you.
Our team will be more than happy to provide assistance and answer your questions related to the initial setup and other technical issues you might encounter. Customization requests however, such as color and/or font customizations, layout changes, image optimization and uploads, additional plugins, are excluded and will come with an extra fee.
We have provided easy-to-follow user guides at our site to enable you to customize your shop on your own. However, if you would like to hand over customization tasks to us, add more plugins than those already included, or prefer to have your own unique template made, send us an email.
Rooster Studio provides limited support for third-party plugins, including those used in our templates. While we can provide assistance in the areas of purchasing (for additional plugin requests), installation, minor fixes, replacement, and even facilitation of your support request, we recommend directly contacting the developer for technical issues involving the core functionality and/or compatibility of these plugins with your shop.
Cover, feature, and page images we have used to pre-design your shop, excluding the sample product images, are courtesy of the artists at Pexels, Unsplash, and Pixabay. These are free for you to use at your shop. Our templates are available to multiple users though. So if you don’t want to have any look-alikes, we suggest you come up with your own.
Product images used in your shop are merely samples and are for demo purposes only. These images cannot be used on your live website and will require replacement before you publish your shop.
You must be 18 years of age or older and have the requisite power and authority to enter into these Terms and Conditions. Children under the age of 18 are prohibited from using this Site.
By using this Site and its Products and Services, you represent that you’re at least 18. If you’re under the age of 18, you may need to have your parent or guardian’s consent to this Agreement and they may need to enter into this Agreement on your behalf.
In order to use this Site and the Products and Services we offer, an account will be automatically created for you. Information we will acquire from you during this process will include your name, email address, billing address, and other information we deem necessary. You agree that any registration information you give to Rooster Studio will always be accurate, correct, and up to date. It is illegal to impersonate someone else or provide any information that is not your own.
Further, your account, specifically the templates you purchase, must not be used for any illegal purpose or activity. In the use of our Products & Services, you must not violate any laws in the Republic of the Philippines or in your country of jurisdiction as it may apply.
Creating an account enables you to make purchases from our shop, herein called “Digital Shop”. Once you have completed your purchase at our checkout counter, you will be receiving at least two (2) emails from us. The first message will be an immediate confirmation of your order, payment made, order details, and further payment instructions if you have availed of other options.
After receiving your completed order, we will then start with the setup & tool installation process. This will take about 2-3 days after which, you will be receiving a second message containing a link to your set-up shop. Your shop package will specifically include the following:
Please note, however, that if we do not receive confirmation of payment or any advice from you after 3 working days (for bank transfer and check payment options), your order will be deemed canceled and delivery shall be postponed.
Upon purchase confirmation, permission is granted to you as the purchaser to use the purchased materials and tools for your own personal/business use. This is the grant of a limited license, not the transference of copyright, a title, or any intellectual property. Under this license you may not:
The above specifications are only applicable to our “Service” and the items we package into the template products we provide. All content you upload unto your shop as your customize it, are entirely yours. Further excluded are custom design projects wherein a separate contract and agreement will be sent to each Client individually when the Client hires Rooster Studio for a custom project.
This site and the services offered contain intellectual property owned by Rooster Studio. This includes our trademarks, copyrights, and other proprietary information. You should not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, distribute, display, reproduce, or in any way exploit any part of this Site, its content, and what we consider as our intellectual property, without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to immediately remove you from the Service, without refund, if you are caught violating this policy.
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of the Republic of the Philippines as applied to contracts that are executed and performed entirely in the country.
