After you have published your website and ready to accept orders. You might think, well where can I see my orders? Don’t worry we got you covered. In this tutorial, we will show how to manage your orders.
Your orders will automatically go to WooCommerce > Orders.
The table will display several details like the
- Order number and customer name
- Date of purchase,
- Order status,
- Billing address,
- Shipping address,
- Purchase total, and
- Actions.
The list is arranged by the most recent order. So be sure check down the list.
To preview your orders, click on the Preview “eye” on the row of the order you want to view. By clicking this a Modal will appear that contains the order number, order status, billing details, payment method, shipping details, shipping method, items ordered, and the option to change the order status.
Order Status
Order Statuses are color-coded and descriptive.
- Canceled – Grey; Canceled by an admin or the customer
- Completed – Blue; Order fulfilled and complete
- Failed – Red; Payment failed or was declined (unpaid) or requires authentication (SCA)
- On Hold – Orange; awaiting payment
- Pending Payment – Grey; Order received, no payment initiated. Awaiting payment (unpaid)
- Processing – Green; Payment received (paid) and the stock has been reduced; order is awaiting fulfillment.
- Refunded – Grey; Refunded by an admin
Once payments have been made the system will automatically change the order status to Processing. After you have fulfilled the order you can then manually change the order status to Completed.
And that’s how easy it is to keep track of your orders using WooCommerce.
